The two-bed apartment had recently been refurbished to a very high standard overlooking the pool.
Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by significant issues. The apartment felt dated, and the absence of dining or bar facilities meant I had no options on-site.

The Superior Apartment was spacious and well-designed, featuring excellent self-catering facilities including a full-sized fridge and an oven, making it easy to prepare meals. The proximity to local shops and the quiet atmosphere enhanced the experience, though the lack of on-site dining options was disappointing. Housekeeping could be inconsistent at times, and the steep stairs may pose a challenge for some. it’s a comfortable spot for a relaxing getaway and great value for its location.

The Palms Resort had a beautifully maintained garden with palm trees that really enhanced the tropical vibe. My apartment featured a spacious layout, including a kitchen equipped with everything for cooking. A full-sized fridge and an oven made it easy to prepare meals. Each day, I enjoyed relaxing on my private balcony, especially with the breezy evenings overlooking the pool area. The location made it convenient to walk to local restaurants and shops. housekeeping was inconsistent. I often found myself having to replenish towels myself. The pool area was pleasant but got crowded at times. there were nights when the noise from the karaoke bar seemed a bit too loud. It’s nice that it’s close to attractions, but be mindful if you prefer quiet evenings.

The rooms are spacious, which is a plus for couples wanting a bit of room to breathe. The kitchenette came equipped with a decent-sized fridge and a working oven, making it practical for longer stays or anyone who enjoys self-catering meals.
Unfortunately, I encountered several issues. The pool was off-limits due to a recent tragedy, which left a somber note hanging over my stay—definitely not the vibe I was hoping for. My one-bedroom apartment had a few quirks, such as only one bath towel per person and the need to put down a deposit for beach towels, which felt a bit excessive. I also had trouble with housekeeping. after leaving a sign for service, my room was often untouched for days, and I came across a dead cockroach that lingered a bit too long. Lastly, good luck getting a taxi—$50 for a 3-minute ride felt a bit steep, especially after paying the same for longer trips elsewhere. while it has some appeal, I’d suggest considering other options before settling here.
